Getting Started

First the legal bit. From the outset it is important to realise that whilst the process of forming a company with Exchequer is straightforward you are still completing a legal document which, once registered at Companies House, will enter the Public Record. You must truthfully answer all questions and understand that when your company is registered certain statutory requirements need to be met on an annual basis; non-compliance attracting substantial fines or even striking off.

We will soon be launching our new automated online application form, allowing you to search the company register for name availability, complete personal and officer details and securely pay by credit/debit card; all in one easy to use section. At present these details need to be supplied to a member of our support team at our offices in Liverpool. The person you will be talking to is a professional company adviser and all details given are treated in strictest confidence. Provided there are no issues with the application, such as using an existing or restricted company name, we expect to have your company formed within 24 hours; if an application is received before 12 noon we normally have it incorporated on the same day.

To get the process started simply complete the preliminary form, not forgetting to include your daytime contact telephone number, and our Support Team member will call you to take the details shown below.

Details You Will Need To Supply

Details you will need to supply include your personal details (address and credit/debit card details), the proposed company details (registered office address and country of registration) and officer details. Exchequer formations allow for the appointment of either one or more Directors, each of whom will act as Subscribers to the incorporation and take a subscriber share. Because the application is being made online Companies House require additional authentication data, which, in the absence of a signature uniquely identifies the appointees. The appointed Director(s) and Secretary (if appointed) will each need to provide from any three of the following: the first three letters of their town of birth, eye colour, mother's maiden and father's first names and the last three digits of their telephone number. Directors will also need to detail their date of birth, nationality, country of residence and occupation. The appointment of a Secretary is now optional for small companies but if one is appointed then the above authentication data for that individual will also be required.

Upon incorporation the new company will be given an Incorporation Certificate, showing its registered number and incorporation date plus a unique Authentication Code, which can be used for online filing operations.

Payment

Payment to cover all costs, including filing fees, can be made using most credit or debit cards. Details will be taken and processed at the same time as the personal and company data so please have your card to hand.

Our service is quick, secure and easy and fully guaranteed.
